1. What are low voltage lights?

2. What advantages do low voltage lights offer?
Low voltage lights are energy efficient, you can get true color rendition (with 12 volts) and the lamps are offered in a wide variety of watts and beam spreads. The lighting is very easy relocate (i.e. if a tree or shrub gets larger and relocation is necessary, for instance) and they are extremely aesthetically pleasing while simultaneously adding value to your home.

3. Is there a limit to how many lights can be added to a system?
There is no limit to the number of lights that can be added to a system as long as the total wattage of all the lights does not exceed the power center (transformer) rating.

4. Do low voltage lights have enough power to illuminate an entire home?
Low voltage lights cast ample brightness for any application. The brightness level is determined by the selected bulb wattage. The key is to strategically position the lights to highlight a few selected features. Be sure to avoid over-lighting and creating visual "hot spots." Backlighting, downlighting and uplighting are great uses for low voltage lights and can be used to accentuate key areas in any landscape.

7. Will my property be torn up to install the lighting??
NO! If not for the breathtaking lights you would probably never know we have been there. We hand install all of our lighting. No heavy machinery will be brought on your property for the purpose of installing a typical lighting system.

8. Will I be charged a consultation fee??
We do not charge a fee for consulting with us and all estimates are 100% free of charge. Nighttime demos are also available upon request for a $250.00 charge which is redeemable upon contractual agreement for lighting installation. 9. Do you service existing lighting systems??
We do service existing lighting systems no matter who installed them.

10. But my landscaper said he will install lighting.?
We are design and installation specialists. We focus on providing the very best design service and installation possible. If you want the best value and performance a specialist is by far the way to go.

11. What about service after you install my lighting??
We service our installations semi-annually. We completely document and tag all fixtures and wiring during the installation process along with making notes for future reference. This makes service and additions to the lighting system more efficient and complete.

12. Will we be able to control our lighting system ourselves??
Most clients ask their systems be fully automated. These systems come on at dusk and will stay on as long as you would like. We do however offer systems with user friendly controls including wireless remote systems so you can turn on or off your lights as you desire. We will be happy to customize a system around your lifestyle and needs.

13. How much does one of your high performance lighting systems cost??
The costs vary widely and every property is different. We will be happy to work with you to try and stay within your budget. Costs will be dependant on selected fixtures, difficulty of installation, number of fixtures the design calls for and other factors.

14. What is the warranty on your systems??
Most of our fixtures include a lifetime warranty as do the transformers. We continue a lifetime warranty on all systems properly maintained by us.

15. How safe is your lighting??
Low voltage lighting is very safe. Not only does it consume a third the energy of high voltage lighting but it's very safe for you and your family. We conform to all NEC requirements and design our systems to ensure your property is kept safe. Properly designed low voltage lighting will also add security to your property.
