Whenever I meet with customers I always ask the question “why light?” What I want to know is why we are here. Understanding the purpose for lighting is the most important thing we can do for our customers. Any landscaper can throw together a basic lighting package, but our goal is to get to the heart of your lighting needs.
When our client tells me they like to entertain friends and family on their back patio, I know our detailed design must include intimate soft mood lighting in the back yard. If the customer says the driveway and pathway are pitch black at night causing safety hazards, our focus will be on highlighting those areas to make the property safer. There’s no cookie cutter design on any project because each homeowner has unique lighting needs.
Listen first, speak second. This advice was given to me years ago, but it still rings true today. We can light an entire property, but if the customer’s most important lighting element is misunderstood, then we’ve missed our mark. We pride ourselves in knowing your lighting needs the first time around.
I encourage you to take a look at your own property and decide if your lighting is what you want it to be. What’s most important to you in lighting your property? We’re excited to continue to satisfy your lighting needs and to exceed your expectations. Give us a call for more information. We’ll be listening.
